About Me
I always feel like it’s important for the people in front of the camera to know a little something about the person behind the camera.
My family has creativity in its genes. My grandma was an amazing painter. My grandpa worked in stained glass. My uncle builds beautiful log homes. My cousin is a genius with metals and a forge. My dad, well, he can build anything. My sister makes cakes; fancy ones with fondant and characters.
Me, well, I capture what I see and feel through photography.
For a long time, it was art just for me; a hobby to grow in and play with. Now that I have my own kiddos, the value of being present, freezing time and having memories memorialized to look back on becomes more real and more valuable to me every day. Time flies and, though the days are long, the years truly are short.
To get a little more personal, I love reading, knitting and crocheting and coffee. My husband says I’m like a little old lady that way but I also love hockey, marvel movies and craft beer so I figure that balances it all out.
I love people, even though I’m typically an introvert. I’m passionate about seeing people as individuals with value, skills and dreams that matter. And you know what?
You matter too.
Your family, the things you create, the events you plan, your business, and your dreams all matter. The things that set your heart on fire matter and it’s a privilege for me to capture them all in photo form for you.
